About

Welcome to my blog Colouryourdream. By profession I am a teacher, having worked in this capacity for many years in my native Germany. My passion for encouraging and motivating people led me to work as a youth leader in various positions within Europe and South America. I was always interested in connecting with people and building bridges through shared experiences, from a young age. Consequently my passion for experiencing different cultures and people resulted in me becoming a flight attendant.

My interest in encouraging, motivating and helping people fulfill their passion allowed me to study and attain qualifications as a life coach (ICF). Over the years I have found this profession to be extremely rewarding and fulfilling, on a personal and individual level in helping my clients to live a healthy and more fulfilling life. I derive immense pleasure in helping people from diverse cultures and backgrounds and experiencing them grow in confidence as individuals.

My desire to bring out the best in people led me to pursue advanced qualifications and international accreditation as a life coach with the international coach federation (ICF).

My greatest joy is to see people become that which they were meant to be, by encouraging individuals to use their unique gifts, act on their strengths, and discover the courage to facilitate their journey of personal growth.

  1. I, too, am a teacher, and I love to find and draw out the best in my students! It sounds like you have had some fascinating experiences – and have an enviable career! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

    1. Thanks for your comment! That’s great that you also love to bring out the best in your students! Yes, I really had great experiences and don’t want to miss them. I am very thankful for this. And to be honest: because you wrote this I thought about it again. Cause for me it is so normal, but probably it’s not and not everybody is able to realize many dreams! All the best with your work! It is a hard job but an amazing opportunity to speak into the lives of so many students!

  2. Hey Tabea,

You have a great blog here. I just read your post for January. 21,2013. It is so true what you posted there. There would be a lot more love and kindness in the world if we all could be self award.

You stopped by Savor the Food and enjoyed reading “Your Invited to Pasta”. I would like to invite you back to follow my blog. I would appreciate your comments and readership.

Just my reading your post today moved me to click on your follow my blog button. I am bookmarking your blog in my browser, as I am going to read more of the other post you have made since last Aug. 2012. 🙂

Lot of go information that one should not pass up. I can learn more about self-awareness.

Thanks so much Tabea for sharing. Looking forward to what Colour Your Dream has to post next. 🙂

  3. Tabea,

Thanks for viewing my blog today. You commented or expressed on one of my posts, “You could write a cookbook. When?” Can you please tell me what makes you feel as though I could write one? I am not saying I can’t. I really appreciate that you think so.

But what do you see that makes you feel that I can? I would really like your feed back on this please. 🙂

    Sincerely,

    Chef Randall

  4. Beautiful blog and wonderful words above. I totally agree how all of us require a constant mentoring/tutoring throughout our lives…. if not for anything else…. then at least to reduce stress.

  5. thanks for stopping by my blog – that’s how I found you, and I’m so glad I did. Following our dreams – and finding out what they are in the first place – is so important in making our lives real and not just a day-by-day grind.

      1. Hi again Ms. Tabea! My friend started this “101 things about me” where you can post anything about yourself and tagged your WordPress friend that you want to know more. I hope you can post yours too anytime soon. I look forward to that 🙂
